Nissan RogueNissan Rogue

Nissan updates the Rogue for the 2024 model year, offering class-competitive connectivity in the compact SUV. It’s the first Nissan to feature Google Built-In, which gives drivers access to Google Assistant, Maps and more through Google Play without the need to pair a phone. All Rogues receive new front and rear styling, with a new grille and other minor visual tweaks for 2024.

Powertrains and Fuel Economy

All 2024 Rogues are powered by a 201-horsepower, turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that makes 225 pounds-feet of torque and is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on every trim level; all-wheel drive is available on each for an additional $1,500.

Nissan hasn’t released fuel-economy estimates for the facelifted 2024 model yet, but the changes aren’t likely to budge the numbers from 2023: Those EPA estimates for the S and SV trim levels are 30/37/33 mpg city/highway/combined with FWD and 28/35/31 mpg with AWD. Weighing in slightly heavier and riding on larger wheels, the SL and Platinum trims rate at 29/36/32 mpg with FWD and 28/34/31 mpg with AWD.

Availability and Pricing

The 2024 Nissan Rogue will go on sale soon. Full pricing (including $1,365 destination) is as follows:

S: $29,685
SV: $31,375
SL: $36,535

Trim Levels and Safety Equipment

Every 2024 Rogue features Nissan Safety Shield 360 as standard equipment. The tech suite includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert and automatic high beams. Beyond the standard safety gear, the base S trim level is pretty spartan. It can be identified by its 17-inch wheels and black mirror housings and door handles. Notable equipment includes full LED exterior lighting, four speakers and an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Stepping up to the SV increases the wheel size to 18 inches and nets body-color mirrors and door handles, a power liftgate, and keyless entry and start. Inside, you’ll find a power driver’s seat, two more speakers and dual-zone automatic climate control. The SV also gets adaptive cruise control and lane departure steering assist.

The SL and Platinum ride on 19-inch wheels. The SL includes leather upholstery with power-adjustable and heated front seats. Google Built-In, as well as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, runs on a 12.3-inch touchscreen that also features navigation. A second 12.3-inch screen houses the digital instrument cluster. Additional safety equipment includes a 360-degree camera system, traffic-sign recognition and navigation-linked cruise control that will automatically slow for curves.

At the top of the line, the Rogue Platinum boasts a standard panoramic moonroof, as well as quilted leather, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, and exclusive options such as a head-up display and heated rear seats.
